The Giant White Snake - Spirit of Creation and Wisdom
Amongst the most revered lwa of Vodou, Papa Damballah is an ancient Rada spirit from Africa. As legend would have it, he created the world from his mighty coils and upon shedding his skin, the oceans appeared and a beautiful mist arose, revealing a rainbow. So enthralled was he with its beauty, that he asked the rainbow to become his wife and named her Aida Wedo. Together they reign.
Immeasurable power is his main attribute as he moves calmly and surely, bringing deep transformation, riches and wisdom to those he favors.
His colors are white, blue, light green.
